I am a musician and my main instrument is the Saxophone (all of them). I have piano skills but am not a performer. I also play ukelele, guitar and percussion. I like to sing and dance.

My big love is the music of Zimbabwe! I love the marimba which I have studied for 20+ years. I have travelled to Zimbabwe to study Shona music in its many forms.

I also adore Balinese Gamelan music. I travelled to Bali and brought home a Gamelan set.

I just finished composing 10 songs in the 'style' of the Zim marimba music I have learned.

I am currently learning how to integrate gamelan software instruments into my DAW'ness so I can compose my own Gamelan songs.

I have taught music for 40 years and counting...general music, band, choir, woodwind methods, saxophone, marimba, and piano.
