Born in 2001,Lorenzo Ritacco is an Italian pianist and composer, known as a performer of American music and niche repertoire. He writes polytonal and neo-atonanic pieces, songs, electroacoustic music, improvisations, hybrid pieces and conceptual art exercises.
As a chamber musician he is part of the piano duo En Blanc Et Noir, playing folkloric and classical pieces, and world premieres by local composers.
He engages in pop music and live effects with the keyboard duo Piano Plugged (piano, toy piano, melodica, xylophone), performing film music, jazz standards and popular songs.
He played in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, performing with various ensembles in important places including, to name a few, Shigeru Kawai Center in Milan, Politeama Rossetti in Trieste, Piazza Libertà in Udine, Synagogue Hall in Novi Sad, Ceremonial Hall of the House of Serbian Army in Belgrade.
He played at important events such as Republic Day, Remembrance Day, Piano City Milan and Pordenone, International Inner Wheel Club, Mittelfest 2021.
